Shrimp Alfredo

This dish will please everyone in the house. A true comfort food!

Ingredients

1 lb. peeled, deveined, tail off shrimp

1/2 lb. pasta

1 tbsp. Olive Oil

2 tsp. Kosher Salt

1 tsp. Ground Pepper

Sauce:

1 Cup Butter

2 Cloves Crushed or Minced Garlic

1 Cup Heavy Cream

1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan

1/2 Cup Shredded Parmesan

1 tsp. Kosher Salt

1 tsp. Ground Pepper

Directions

  1. In a saucepan melt the butter

  2. add garlic and sauté for 1 minute

  3. whisk in cream, and let the sides bubble just a bit

  4. add parmesan

  5. whisk until thick enough to coat a spoon

  6. add salt and pepper and set aside

  7. boil Pasta

  8. While pasta is boiling, heat olive oil in a skillet over medium high heat

  9. add shrimp and sauté with salt and pepper until cooked through, about 5 minutes.

  10. add cooked pasta and Alfredo sauce to the shrimp.

  11. let it cook in the pan a little longer if it needs thickening and serve!
