Homemade Pasta
If you’ve been intimidated by homemade pasta, just stop right there. This recipe is so easy and it’s only 2 ingredients.
Ingredients
2 Cups Flour
4 Eggs
Directions
Mound the flour onto a clean surface
create a well for the eggs in the middle of the mound.
crack the eggs in the well
whisk eggs with a fork slowly incorporating the flour until a thick paste forms
once you have a paste start incorporating the flour by hand until a dough forms
Once you have a dough, knead until it is smooth and not sticky
wrap in plastic wrap and let rest for 30 minutes
split dough into quarters
roll out dough into a Long rectangle
In a pasta machine, start with the lowest setting and roll until you can see the color of your hand through the other side. (if you don’t have a pasta machine, you can roll with a rolling pin).
Cut into strips by hand or run through a pasta attached for whatever shape noodle you’d like!
